DESCRIPTION
INSTITUT UNIVERSITAIRE BENGONO TOURE GENEVIEVE (IUBTG) is a private university institute higher education using bilingualism (French and English) as teaching languages. The IUBTG wishes to contribute to the development of communities by actively participating in the most complete and high-quality training of qualified and competent human resources in different sectors of society in order to ensure better living conditions for the populations. In addition to this martial mission, the IUBTG will deliver various services and services through its various highly specialized organs and centers through collaboration with all international and national partners who share the same vision.

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

Applicable study: New international students enrolling in undergraduate degrees, PGDip or masters programmes, PhD programmes
Opening date: 12 September 2023 and February 2024
Closing date: December 2023 and April 2024
Tenure: 3 years and 4 years

For: Tuition fees 75% Granted per each year.
Number on offer: Up to 30 students
Value: Up to 30000000 FCFA for either postgraduate study or undergraduate study.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
o Applicants should have obtained a minimum of 75% for their previous degree.
o Applicants are expected to provide a sample of their writing with their application:
o Honours research essay for Master applicants.
o Any published academic articles related to your application (Masters and PhD)
o At the date of application, applicants must not be older than 40 to apply for a Master’s scholarship Applicants must apply to study at IUBTG in addition to this scholarship application.
o Applicants are not required to be registered or to have a supervisor. They should, however, inform themselves regarding the availability of suitable supervisors in University with additional plan of payment of 25%.
RECOMMENDATIONS
o An existing record of publications;
o Awards or grants received;
o Relevant professional experience;
o The ability to use any language(s) in addition to English or French for academic purposes.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND REQUIREMENTS
o Official application form
o A motivation letter (not longer than 600 words);
o A preliminary research proposal, no longer than 500 words, underlining the unique contribution your research will make to the existing body of knowledge in the particular field of study, the problem statement, the methodology / theoretical framework / philosophical underpinnings you intend to use and the feasibility of your study;
o A certified copy of your full academic transcript;
o A certified copy of your Honours degree certificate – or foreign equivalent (if you have completed the qualification but have not yet obtained the certificate, official proof from the institution concerned that the degree will be delivered); and plan for payment of 25% .
o A certified copy of your Country ID or passport (for international students).
